ARTIST SUPPORT PROGRAM
The 1520 Arts Artist Support Program is designed to provide targeted support for artists, educators, and community leaders engaged in impactful creative work aligned with our mission. This program offers a maximum of $500 in annual support per applicant, which may be allocated across multiple applications throughout the year.

Applicants may request support in the following forms, based on the nature and location of the proposed project:

Cash Requests:
Cash support is only available for events and projects taking place outside the state of Utah. This ensures our resources foster the expansion and recognition of Utah-based talent and programs on a national scale. -
Material Resources or Facility Use:
Requests for materials or access to 1520 Arts facilities must be for projects and events located within the state of Utah.
COMMUNITY MURAL PROGRAM
This program supports emerging artists by providing them an opportunity to produce a small-scale mural project. This initiative is intended to help artists refine their craft in a real-world context, contribute to the public art landscape, and strengthen their portfolios for future work.

Emerging Artist Status:
Applicants must be up-and-coming artists with minimal professional experience or work in their portfolio. - $500 Artist Stipend:
A grant of $500 will be awarded to the artist for their work. - Design Submission:
A completed mural design must be submitted as part of the application and approved prior to execution.
1520 Arts Equipment ReNTAL
Producing events takes resources. This program helps provide low cost access to tools that are often difficult for small groups and organizations to access. Sound Equipment, Dance Floors, Tables, Chairs etc..

Local Community Org.:
Applicants must be a local organization or cultural group that serves underserved or marginalized communities. - Rates:
Rates are dependent on the type of event(s), dates, times and usage needs. - Rentals:
Rentals may not exceed 3 days and are subject to availability.
