Little bit of Sunday night work and we have a new Video Blog. This month I wanted to talk about Prelims. There are a lot of bboys entering events now, both here and all across the world. Because of this most jams have a prelim to thin out the dancers so that the battles are good and don’t take all night. However, the prelim is a little different than both a cypher battle or regular competition battle. Prelims are more like an audition, where you’re showing your stuff and hoping to be chosen to compete in the rest of the event.
This video blog gives some tips on how to do well in prelims & we also talk about why it’s important to battle as much as possible & to have a strategy. Check it out and let us know what you think in the comments. Also check out our other video and learn how we judge the FED league events.
The next event will be
