As the decade came to a close, we spent our December planning for 2020 and spending time with family.  2019 was an amazing year, we performed at so many amazing events and were able to reach more people than ever.   Keep an eye out for our 2019 Annual Report!

As we wind down for the holiday season we held our last classes at several of our programs.  BYU Dance 245 ended our 7th semister at the school.  As this program continues to grow we look forward to being back in the spring as well as opportunities to add classes in the fall.  We also completed 8 of our 16 weeks at Escalante Elementary.  In January students will begin learning a bit about Street Art and how to create a style all their own.  Finally, Big Chocolate brought New Jack Swing to the students of Hunter High.  It’s been really fun to watch the students adapt to each style they are taught, learning to create a unique identity within the movement.

Now in it’s 7th year our Re-Fresh Annual Clothing Drive is one of our favorite programs.  For this years drive we were able to help out two groups of people.  Our Promise South Salt Lake after school students were able to take some of the clothing home.  These students need clothing for school as well as winter and we were happy to be able to provide for them.  The remaining clothing went to The Road Home’s Midvale shelter.  This facility specializes in family needs and we felt that the clothing would be best utilized there.  Thank you to all that donated.  Clothing has such a huge impact on the way people feel and view themselves and we’re glad it found a home with those who need it most!

We decided to wrap up the clothing drive with one last event for the year!  One more kids battle before the decade comes to a close.  Thank you to everyone that came out and thank you to everyone that has participated in our events over the last 10 years.  We are so grateful for the community and look forward to lots of fun things we have in store for 2020!!  Also, congrats to Bboy Flakko on his first win!!
